The PTR Group is an industry recognized expert in the development, deployment, upgrade, and training associated with embedded, real-time and distributed systems. As such we have a unique advantage in terms of understanding new product development and support for legacy product development for many leading vendors of embedded products in the U.S. and worldwide. The PTR Group provides system engineering services including software development, hardware and prototype development, consulting, and training exclusively for the needs of the embedded and real-time Federal and Commercial markets. Our expertise is concentrated in five primary business areas:

 

 

Our staff of professionals offer almost 500 total years of combined experience and has extensive background in the planning, design, development, delivery, and maintenance of products using a wide variety of real-time, embedded systems technologies. Our staff includes two full time trainers as well as other staff who can support training activities. The PTR Group engineer’s experience offers a unique combination of electrical engineering and software development background and more than half of our staff have 20 years experience or more.

 

The PTR Group maintains a 3400 square foot engineering design and support center in our Savage, MD site which includes an 1100 square foot DCID 6/9 rated SCIF. These offices are configured to support design and testing of network-based applications and include multiple lab spaces (electronic and network), offices and a conference rooms. The electronics lab includes full printed circuit board and surface mount assembly and test capabilities and a full suite of digital and analog design and diagnosis tools.
